It's a Festival, Go Wild!  

All Bars will accept Cash or Card for Drinks. The box office will accept both cash and card for ticket sales and upgrades. Food Vendors & Stalls will also accept both. No tokens needed. 

We encourage public transport or walking as the event is located in central NCL. There are no official customer car parks but there is plenty of on road street parking with pay meters and 24-hour secure car parks nearby. 

How do we enter the festival? 

Lost Minds/In the Park entry is accessed from Barrack Road. You cannot enter the festival from Richardson Road. 

I'm coming by Coach, where will I be dropped off? 

All Coaches should head to coach drop off / pick up point which is located at "Barrack Road", less than a 5 minutes walk to the festival site. 

Taxis for after the event? 

There will be a taxi rank set up on Barrack Road upon exit from the festival. 

Tom Grennan: 11+. Under 18’s to be accompanied by an adult (Challenge 25 in operation) 

Lost Minds: You will need to be 18 or Older. We operate a challenge-25 policy upon Entry and at All Bars. 

Rag’n’Bone Man: 11+. Under 18’s to be accompanied by an adult (Challenge 25 in operation)

Can I bring Food / Alcohol in with me? 

No food and drink allowed to be brought inside the festival. There will be fully stocked bars and lots of food options including gluten free and vegetarian.  

 

Alcohol / Drinks, tell me more. 

There are fully stocked bars selling all your favourites, priced similar to the local clubs and venues. You will be able to use Cash & Card at the bars. No tokens needed. 

 

Which Drinks do you sell? 

Beer / Cider / Mixed Fruit cider / Prosecco / Vodka / Gin / Whisky / Jager bombs / Tequila / Soft Drinks / Energy Drinks + more. 

 

How Much are the Drinks? 

Drinks vary from £2 - £8.5 per drink. Soft Drinks to Spirits/Mixer. 

 

Fontaines D.C. - 14+ Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. (Challenge 25 in operation).

Can I bring a bag? 

Yes, maximum size is A4. This will be searched upon entry. 

We will not be officially recording any sets, DJs/Artists may record their own sets though. 

Yes, no glass bottles. 

Glass Bottles / Aerosols are banned. Roll On Deodorant is fine. 

Yes, please visit the Go Hangers van on the day, you'll be able to charge your phone there.

PLEASE NOTE: All persons, ticket holders as well as guests, press and media will be searched. 

Ticketing

Yes, there will be tickets available to purchase at the Box Office subject to availability. You can save money and speed up your entry to the event by purchasing in advance using one of our ticket agents.   

Yes, there will be limited upgrades available. Head to the Box Office before you enter the event on the day. 

VIP includes access to dedicated fast track lane into the event, access to the exclusive VIP Area which includes a Private Bar + Catering, viewing Deck & Posh Loos. 

Please contact the Ticket Outlet where you purchased your ticket from. 

Yes you can, or you can save the PDF to your phone, or use the Skiddle or Ticketmaster App to download to your Wallet. 

Yes. Multi-day tickets are available to purchase via our official ticket agents' website. You will have an individual ticket to gain entry each day.  

Accessibility

At In the Park festival, our goal is to create an inclusive event that's accessible to everyone. We have a dedicated Accessibility team available to assist with the application process and any queries you may have in the lead up to the event.   

Facilities include:

  • Accessible Viewing Platform: Designed for wheelchair users and those requiring seating. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage customers needing access to the platform to apply as soon as possible to reserve a space.
  • Accessible Toilets: Strategically located for convenience.
  • Accessibility Entrance: Ensuring smooth entry for all attendees.
  • Essential Companion Ticket: Available to support those who need assistance during the festival.

If you require Accessibility facilities or an Essential Companion ticket for any of the shows at In the Park Festival which takes place at Exhibition Park, Newcastle upon Tyne – Please email newcastleaccess@intheparkfestival.com with the following information.  

  • Show/Date you are applying for.  
  • Your order reference for your purchased ticket. This can be found on your email confirmation which you will have received at the time of booking or can be found by logging into your ticket agent account.
  • Please include details of your accessibility requirements. E.g. Wheelchair User.

 You will also need to include one of the following documents:

  • The Access card
  • DLA /PIP letter from the Department of work and pensions (front copy only)
  • Medical professionals letter
  • D/deaf or blind registration 

Once we have received all relevant information, your details will be logged and someone from the Accessibility team will be in touch to confirm receipt.

Please note Accessibility customers still need to purchase a ticket for the event, these can be purchased via Ticketmaster. If you require an essential companion, please do not purchase a ticket for them as this will not be refunded.
