Concert Series – In the Park Festival - Sefton Park, Liverpool, UK
EVENT DATES
Thursday 11th July – 13th July 2024
The times for the event at Sefton Park are:
Thursday 11th July 2024 4.00pm - 10.00pm (Last entry 7pm)
Friday 12th July 2024 4.00pm - 10.00pm (Last entry 7pm)
Saturday 13th July 2024 2.00pm - 10.00pm (Last entry 5pm)
Please note sound checks may take place from 9.00am on all days, with some tests possibly taking place on Wednesday 10th July 2024.
ROAD CLOSURES
All road closures are put in place with agreement from the local authority and Merseyside Police. The closures are implemented to manage the ingress and egress of vehicles to the event site and minimise disruption to locals by restricting non-residents from certain roads. The goal is to reduce and minimise disruption within the local areas and roadways surrounding the event site itself.
To enable the event to take place safely we have had to implement some parking and traffic management restrictions. These will include:

No waiting cones will be positioned around the edge of the park to protect junctions and in areas to allow traffic to move freely around the park. They will also be placed around road junctions to protect access. Additional car parking areas will be managed, and capacity monitored.

Greenbank Lane will be closed at Greenbank Road, apart from access to residents and businesses only.

The section of the park between Croxteth Gate (Solna Hotel) and the roundabout at Aigburth Drive will be closed to general traffic and used as car parking for blue badge holders. This will also be used for Shuttle Bus operation.

Closures in and around Aigburth Drive/Lark Lane will be in place to assist and make safe pedestrian movement to and from the event. Diversion routes will be in place during these periods, residents/business access will be maintained.
Traffic restrictions will apply for up to 2 hours before each event until approximately 1 hour after the above times.
On Thursday 11th July & Friday 12th July 2024, additional restrictions between Aigburth Drive and Croxteth Gate will be implemented from 9.30am until the end of the event. On Saturday 13th July the same closure will be implemented from 8.00am until the end of the event.
We advise businesses to arrange deliveries prior to 10.00am or one hour after the event times to avoid any likely disruption.
Please note that whilst the site is being built for the event and again on the de-rig, there may be areas of the Park that are closed to the general public. This is a legal requirement of the event organisers and is done for the safety of the public using the park during these periods.
If residents would like to come and meet the organisers and discuss the plans then we will be hosting a drop in session at 6pm on Tuesday 9th July at the Croxteth Gate Care Park’.

RESIDENT TICKETS
A limited amount of complimentary resident tickets will be available from Friday 5th July at 12pm, tickets will be available on a first come first served basis. To check if you are eligible for tickets follow the event link below and enter your postcode as the ‘Access Key’ when prompted. Your postcode must be entered without any spacings for it to be valid.

Please note there will be fireworks at the end of tonight’s show at 9.55pm for 5 minutes finishing at 10.00pm.
A max of 2 tickets per household applies. Tickets in excess of 2 will be cancelled. Your digital tickets will be scanned on entry to the event where residents must provide valid in date photographic and holographic identification corresponding with the full address on the tickets. If you can’t provide this when asked or if the names do not match, your ticket will be cancelled and you will be refused entry to the festival. Any tickets found being offered for sale or having been sold will be cancelled and refused entry to the event.
Please note that complimentary tickets are only given at the sole discretion of the company and are not a right of any local resident.
